I use this app a lot because its an easy way to spend bitcoin and they give bonus rewards. Its also very convenient to store all my gift cards in.
I wish thatd they continue to expand their coverage and offer cards to places like Smart n final, Aldi, Sprouts, Zara, Kay, H&m, the container store, etsy, RIE, guitar center, Hurley, sunglasses hut, sparkfun, adafruit, ... even if companies dont offer gift cards, maybe gyft is in a position to help connect these companies to new digital payments.
This is amazing especially with being able to use Apple Pay! Makes gyfting that much more easier!
I used this app to get gift cards for my family the day of Christmas and it worked beautifully! Although one gift card was giving me a hard time I had to cancel it the day after unfortunately. The status said refunded but till this day I havent gotten a refund. Either way its still a good app for quick gift card purchases to send!
I love that I can buy gift certificates with PayPal. They keep expanding their base of stores! Love it!!
This App makes it easy for me to send gift cards to my family out of state, especially convenient for last minute when Ive forgotten their birthday. They like it also, easy to use and redeem gift cards.
Love that the cards can go into your apple wallet. I also love that you can pay for the cards with paypal.
Some bad moments
Two out of the first three cards I tried to add I could not because Gyft does not have those companies in the database. This app seems more about who Gyft is in cahoots with than for helping the consumer.
Spent over 30 minutes manually entering card numbers for over 15 Christmas gift cards, and it didnt work anywhere.
Gyft is a scam dont wast your time or money, I was given a Dennys and TGIF gyft for the holidays and most Dennys and TGIF do not accept them. I dont even think most restaurants or places even associate themselves with this app. Do not purchase or wast your time on GYFT
This app used to work great. Now Ive tried adding two different Old Navy cards and both times getting errors they cant verify the amount so they cant be added. Worthless!
This used to be a solid app. Security is questionable and thats a deal breaker for gift cards that are essentially like cash.
New limits on the number and balance of uploaded cards and restrictions on unlisted companies make this app completely useless.
What happened to the feature where you could upload customized gift cards that werent on their list of retailers? Half of the gift cards I received on Christmas arent on the list which makes this app useless.
Also the app never seems to update my card balance on my cards even after I hit the refresh button next to the card balance. This makes me think I have more money on the card then I actually do.
Very disappointed. This app can be so much better and more useful than it currently is.
